This is a new take on a DP classic! The acidity of the 2018 Riesling was sky-high (2.77pH) so we decided to bottle early and leave some residual sugar in the wine to balance out the palate of this vintage and making for a slightly effervescent wine, reminiscent of Vinho Verde. Some natural sediment is to be expected with this style of wine.
A perfect wine for rich meals. Start AND end your Thanksgiving dinner with this gem. For lunch, pair it with a Pork Belly Bánh Mì Sandwich; and for dinner try it with flammkuchen! Serve very cold.
